Alan Lynn
Johnson
Jun 25, 1962 — Mar 4, 2026
Alan Lynn Johnson, 63, of Melbourne, Florida, passed away peacefully on March 4, 2026, surrounded by his family. Born on June 25, 1962, in Minnesota, Alan lived a life marked by dedication to his family, his work, and his passions.
Alan built a distinguished career as a Senior Superintendent for home builders. Most recently, he was a cherished member of the team at Mattamy Homes, where his leadership and commitment left a permanent mark on colleagues and homeowners alike. His work reflected not only his expertise, but also his genuine care for those around him and the impact he had on these people lives on.
He is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Pam Johnson; his daughters, Leah Zweibohmer (MJ) and Emma Johnson; and his sisters, Dorothy Rennaker, Donna Paron (Jim), and Marie Thompson (Ben). He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins who will miss him dearly. Alan was preceded in death by his mother, Adeline Gaslin; his father, Walter Johnson; and his brothers, Marvin Johnson and Douglas Johnson. Family meant everything to Alan, and he showed that love in countless ways throughout his life.
Alan found joy in the moments that brought people together. Whether it was a poker game, sharing a good meal, watching football, golfing, playing softball, or trying his luck at the casino, he cherished time spent with friends and family. These moments, full of laughter and connection, are the memories those who loved him will hold onto most.
He will be remembered as a kind and selfless man who treated everyone with warmth and respect. Alan had a gentle spirit and an open heart—he truly never had one mean bone in his body. His generosity and compassion touched more lives than he likely ever realized.
Alan's memory will live on in the stories shared, the homes he helped build, and the love he gave so freely. May those who knew him find comfort in remembering a life so well lived and a man so deeply loved by all those around him.
We love you to the moon and back.
