Obituary

With profound sadness, but hearts full of gratitude for the love she gave so freely, we announce the passing of Angela Oddo. Angie was a devoted wife, cherished mother, proud grandmother, beloved sister, aunt, cousin, and loyal friend. She lived her life with kindness, compassion, unwavering faith, and a heart that always put others before herself.“The most important thing in life is love and family.” Those words perfectly reflected the way she lived every day. Her family was her greatest purpose, and the love she shared with them will continue to live on forever.Angie is preceded in death by her beloved mother, Shirley White; her grandmother affectionately known as “Sugar Baby”; her sister, Annette Gibbs; her uncles, Ronnie Hood and Wayne Hood; and her Aunt Arnette. While their absence left lasting holes in her heart, she found comfort in her faith and looked forward to the promise of being reunited with them one day.She leaves behind the love of her life and devoted husband, Anthony Oddo. Their love story began in July of 1990 when they met through mutual friends, and after years of building a beautiful life together, they were married on April 22, 1995. Their marriage was built on friendship, laughter, unconditional love, and unwavering commitment, and together they created countless cherished memories over the years.Angie's greatest accomplishment and deepest source of pride was her family. She is lovingly survived by her daughter, Nyshia Bizik and husband Blair, of Port Orange, Florida; and by the light of her life, her beloved grandson, Brody Bizik, whose smile could brighten even her darkest days. Becoming a grandmother was one of life’s greatest blessings, and Brody brought her immeasurable joy, pride, and purpose. She is also survived by her brother, Dale White and wife Phyllis of Port Orange, Florida; her Aunt Helen Murphy of Kissimmee, Florida; cousin Carla Murphy of Kissimmee, Florida; sister-in-law Caterina Sloan of Cocoa, Florida; sister-in-law Ann Marie Ortiz and husband David of Lynn, Massachusetts; niecesniece Tonya Splinter and husband Richard of Texas, Tiffany Osborne and husband David of Cocoa, Florida, Olivia Jones and husband Brian of Savannah, Georgia, and Sarah Langenburg of Lynn, Massachusetts, Patricia Manopoli and husband David of Lynn, Massachusetts; nephew Jonathan Langenburg and wife Beth of Atlanta, Georgia; and her treasured great-nieces and great-nephews: Bryar, Gage, Taigen, Aubrynn, and Ryker.Angie also leaves behind many dear friends who, to her, were never “just friends.” She welcomed them into her heart as family, offering love, encouragement, laughter, and unwavering support whenever they needed it.Anyone who knew her also knew she had a gift for making people feel beautiful. Cosmetology wasn’t simply her career, it was her passion and her calling. Whether it was hair, makeup, or nails, Angie poured her creativity and heart into everything she did. If someone needed help looking or feeling their best, she was the one everyone turned to. As her family often joked, “If you didn’t know, SHE did.” She took pride in helping others see the beauty in themselves, both inside and out.Angie will forever be remembered as loving, bubbly, kind-hearted, selfless, and a true peacemaker. She loved God with all her heart and leaned on her faith throughout every season of life. She had a contagious smile, a warm embrace, and a spirit that naturally brought people together. She found joy in serving others, celebrating life’s little moments, and making everyone around her feel welcome and loved.Although our hearts are broken by her passing, we find peace knowing that the love Angie shared did not end with her life. It lives on through her family, the countless memories she created, the lives she touched, and the example she set for all who knew her.Her absence leaves a space that can never be filled, but her legacy of love, faith, kindness, and family will continue for generations to come.Until we meet again, Angie, thank you for loving so deeply and living so beautifully. You will be missed beyond words, remembered every day, and loved forever.
