Brandon Wade
Rodgers
Nov 17, 1981 — Mar 4, 2026
Brandon Wade Rodgers, 44, passed away on March 4, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was surrounded by the love of his family, who will forever carry his spirit with them.
Born in Toledo, Ohio, on November 17, 1981, Brandon grew up with a deep love for art, family, and faith. In 2010, he moved to Florida, where he built a life filled with purpose, creativity, and devotion. For twenty-five years, Brandon was an extraordinary tattoo artist whose talent, precision, and imagination left a lasting mark on countless people. His artistry was matched only by his kindness, humor, intelligence, and the gentle way he cared for others.
Brandon was a devoted husband to his wife of sixteen years, Janneke, and a proud father to their three sons — Weston (12), Emmitt (11), and Knox (9) — who were the center of his world. He loved them fiercely and taught them through his actions what strength, compassion, and authenticity look like.
He was the beloved oldest son of Dale Rodgers (Sheri Rodgers) and Sandra Lovell (Kevin Lovell), and a cherished brother to Allan Rodgers, Christian Rodgers (Elizabeth Rodgers), Elliot Rodgers, Seth Rodgers, and his sister Lisa Lovell. Brandon was also a loving uncle to his nephews Samuel Rodgers and Bentley Strickland. His family remembers him as immensely talented, funny, caring, and someone whose presence made life brighter.
Brandon's legacy lives on in the people he loved, the art he created, and the countless moments of laughter, generosity, and tenderness he shared.
"I have set the Lord always before me; because He is at my right hand, I will not be shaken." — Psalm 16:8
A celebration of Brandon's life will be held as an open house on April 4th in Merritt Island, Florida, where family and friends are invited to gather, share memories, and honor the remarkable man he was.
