Carolyn Cain (nee Robertson), 86, of Melbourne, Florida, passed away on October 31, 2025, after over fifteen years of carrying the cross of several serious medical conditions. She is preceded in death by her parents; Joseph Emery and Mary Elizabeth Robertson and by her sisters Ruth Weaver and Margaret Innes.

She was born on June 4, 1939, in Oneonta, Alabama. She grew up in Destin, Florida, and took an active interest in both school and church activities. Carolyn married her husband, CMSGT Gene Cain, in September of 1969. She was a loving and supportive wife who gave dedicated support to her husband during both his military service and later his career in the Space Industry. Her contributions enabled him to achieve much success during his long working career.

Carolyn was a dedicated and nurturing Mother. She was a positive role model who instilled in her children a sense of right and wrong, a strong work ethic and an empathetic approach in dealing with both family and friends.

She is survived by her children: Jeffrey, Dana, Rebecca, Marcus, Missi, and her baby dog Maggie. Her grandchildren: Brandon, Alicia, Adam, and Brittany. Her great-grandchildren: Justin, Gabryele, Madison, Charlie, and Blakely. Carolyn's final wishes were to have her ashes retained by her family until such time as her husband's passing at which time their ashes will be interred together.
