Charles Edward Rentfrow February 10, 1955–November 25, 2025

Charles (Chuck) Rentfrow, age 70, of Satellite Beach, Florida, passed away at home on Tuesday, November 25, 2025 with his family and dogs at his side.

Charles was born in Decatur, Illinois, the middle child of six siblings. He met his life-long partner Betty 47 years ago, and in 1983, Chuck and Betty relocated to Florida where Chuck continued pursuing a career with the postal service, eventually retiring after 41 years of service.

Chuck loved his dogs, music, and there was a time when no one could out fish him. He was also a devoted Chicago Bears fan whether they were winning or losing—hold onto your cloud Chuck, they just might do something this year!

Chuck was preceded in death by his parents Charles Andrew and Shirley Peterson Rentfrow. He is survived by his wife of 39 years Betty; his beloved dogs Jack, Lola and Winnie; sisters Linda (Mike) Carroll and Patricia Yap of Melbourne, Florida and Debbie White of Decatur, Illinois; and brothers Richard Rentfrow of Decatur, Illinois and Keith (Joyce) Rentfrow of Melbourne, Florida. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews whom he loved and adored.

Go rest high Chuck until we see you again. We will miss your smile and infectious laugh.
