Charlotte Boerchers of Melbourne, Florida passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on January 8, 2026. She was born on September 26,1936, in Basel, Switzerland.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Eugen and Barbara Naeff; her brother, Hans Naeff; and her sister, Gerda Keller.

She is survived by her brother Peter Naeff (Beatrice); her children, Martin Boerchers, Barbara Atzingen, and Bernard Boerchers (Susan); and her beloved grandchildren: Tyler Atzingen (Kate), Ashley Williams (Brian), Kelly Atzingen, Matthew Boerchers (Francesca), John Boerchers (Megan), and Zachary Boerchers (Grace).

Born in Switzerland, she made the brave journey to the United States in her early twenties with her best friend and began a new life in Rockaway, New Jersey, where she raised her three children and worked part-time as a waitress at the Harbor Restaurant. She later lived in Virginia and South Carolina before settling in Florida.

A devoted mother and grandmother, she was known for her gentle heart, her kindness, and her deep love for animals. She had a warmth that made people feel safe, loved, and at home. She will be deeply missed, and her memory will forever live in our hearts!
