Obituary

Cody Michael Fisette, 34, was born in Orlando, Florida, and attended Titusville High School before proudly graduating from Florida State University. After graduation, Cody pursued his inherited passion for aerospace and began his career at United Launch Alliance at Kennedy Space Center. He went on to become an exceptionally successful Systems Engineer with L3Harris, where he spent the last 9½ years building a career he truly loved. Cody made a significant impact on his programs and teammates through his dedication and hard work. His contributions and the positive impression he left will be long remembered.

From a young age, Cody showed a natural curiosity and love for building and creating — tinkering with K'NEX, mastering his ingenuity, and looking up to his grandfather who worked at NASA. Those early influences shaped a lifelong passion for technology, innovation, and problem-solving.

Cody was a social butterfly who loved spending time with his many friends — whether lifelong friendships or people he had just met. He loved gaming and snowboarding trips with "the boys," skydiving, had a passion for firing up the smoker or grill and enjoyed all things culinary. He had a way with turning a "quick story" into a 20-minute monologue and made memories the only way he knew how: FULL SEND. He was known for his ingenuity, bold humor, playful sarcasm, and a warm confidence that carried his unmistakable charm and signature swagger.

Cody was predeceased by his grandparents and his father Michael Fisette. Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Shannon Horner Fisette; his fiancée, Crystal Hill; his loving Horner family – aunts, uncles, and cousins; his numerous and deeply loved friends; Crystal's extended family who embraced him as their own; cherished colleagues; and his beloved black lab — the "son" he adored — Bob Jalapeño.

The family asks that Cody be remembered for the beautiful life he lived and the love he shared. Funeral services will be private. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
