Connie Jean Niebruegge, age 86, passed away on December 15, 2025, in Rockledge, Florida. She was born October 21, 1939, in Connelsville/Novinger, Missouri.
Connie was preceded in death by her beloved husband Charles "Denny" Niebruegge, who passed away on November 7, 2025, and her son Richard "Rick" Reece, who passed away August 16, 2025.
She is survived by her daughter Cheryl Reece Navarro and son-in-law Albert Navarro of Melbourne, Florida, Daughter-in-law Mary Reece, Widow of Rick Reece and two grandsons Andrew and Liam Reece, all of Federal Way, Washington. She also left 2 very special nephews Brian and Daniel Worthington of Lafayette, California and a niece Sherri Murray of Brashear, Missouri, and the whole Niebruegge family.
Connie had 2 careers. She was a Stay at Home Mom while her children were young, then was employed by Lockheed Martin as an Illustrator in Graphic Arts for many years before retiring.
Connie will be remembered for her love of family and all the hobbies she loved to do. She was an excellent golfer winning the Grand Championship at the Showboat Classic Tournament in Las Vegas, Nevada with her husband Denny as well as winning the Ladies Club Championship at Marshallia Ranch Golf Course, Vandenberg SFB.
She loved all kinds of crafts – whether it be sewing, embroidery, needlepoint, crocheting, painting or macrame. There were not many things she could not create or do as she was very talented and gifted while doing crafts.
She held a special place in the hearts of those who knew and loved her and will be deeply missed by so many.
A memorial service is being held on March 2, 2026, at Cape Canaveral Cemetery at 11:30am – with a reception immediately following.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation be made to the Humane Society, Wounded Warrior Project or a charity of your choice.
