Diane Ruth Steward, lovingly known as "Gert," passed away on Monday, January 19, 2025, at the age of 73, in Melbourne, Florida.

Diane grew up in New Jersey and later moved to Germany with her husband Charles during his military service, where she worked at a bank. After returning to the United States, she devoted herself to raising her family and spent many years as a preschool aide before retiring.

Diane loved crafts and coffee—especially Dunkin' Donuts—and was famous for being able to drink coffee all day and still fall asleep with ease. She had a kind heart that made everyone feel welcome. Her greatest joy was being a grandmother, and she cherished every moment spent with her granddaughter Emma, especially their trips to Disney.

Diane is survived by her husband of 52 years, Charles Steward; her children, Katherine and Charles; and her beloved granddaughter, Emma.

She will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and the love she shared so freely.
