Born on February 6, 1951, in South Bend, Indiana, Dianne lived a life defined by compassion, dedication, and an unwavering commitment to education. She was a lifelong educator whose passion for mathematics and science inspired countless students over the years.
In recognition of her outstanding contributions to education, Dianne was honored in 2004 with the Presidential Award for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching, presented through the National Science Foundation—one of the nation's highest honors for K–12 STEM educators. She is also survived by her sister, Anne Zulas, who resides in South Bend, Indiana. Her love, wisdom and unwavering support will remain a lasting presence in their lives.
A memorial mass will be held on Wednesday June 10 at 1:00 PM at the Divine Mercy Catholic Church, Merritt Island, Florida.
Dianne will be remembered for her kindness, quiet strength, deep faith, and the warmth she brought into every room she entered. Her legacy lives on through her family, her students, and all who were fortunate enough to know her.
