Dorena G. Daniel of Cocoa, Florida, passed away Sunday, November 9, 2025, at Spacecoast Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Merritt Island, Florida. Born on June 5, 1949, Dorena touched the lives of many throughout her years.

Dorena was preceded in death by her sisters Lucille and Tracie and brothers Bill, Tom and Ken. She is survived by two brothers Danny and Larry (Linda), as well as several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Dorena found great joy in attending art and craft fairs, refurbishing furniture, exploring garage sales and antiquing. She enjoyed painting rooms in her house and rearranging the furniture to create a fresh new look, often remarking it was a more cost-effective way to reinvent her living space than buying a new house and moving. An avid reader, Dorena cherished moments spent reading outdoors. Her love for animals was evident in the many cats she adopted over the years.

With over fifty years of dedication to the retail industry, Dorena was recognized as a very conscientious employee, consistently demonstrating her commitment and work ethic.

Above all, Dorena was a great friend who will be sorely missed by those who had the privilege of knowing her.
