Elizabeth Kidney Craig (Sanner), age 88, passed away peacefully on December 23, 2025, at Ginny's Place in Rockledge, FL. She was the beloved daughter of Maurice and Olivia (Snow) Kidney. Dedication to Education and the Arts

Elizabeth devoted 34 years of her life not only to her family but also to her students. She taught English, drama, speech, and debate throughout her career, beginning with a brief tenure at Phillips Exeter, followed by Exeter High School, and most recently at Dover High School in Dover, NH. Her unwavering commitment to education and her passion for the arts left a lasting impression on countless lives. Elizabeth was admired for her strong work ethic, her kindness, her theatrical humor, and her pride in supporting her community. She earned a B.A. in theatre and a Master's in Education from Emerson College, Boston. She cherished her academic achievements and her involvement in theater both at Emerson College and with local theater companies for many years. Family and Personal Life

Beyond her professional life, Elizabeth was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, daughter, and friend. She brought joy to her family, valued hard work, and touched many hearts with her humor, adventurous spirit, and quiet strength. Elizabeth worked diligently to keep her family together, especially during summer months, often spending time at the beach, lakes, rivers, or by the pool. In her earlier years, she proudly owned and operated a Summer Children's Theatre, sharing her love of the arts with her children and students. Above all, she was a dedicated and loving mother.

Interests and Legacy After the passing of her first husband, Harry, Elizabeth found solace in gardening, planting flowers and plants, and took great pride in her yard. She was highly artistic, enjoyed painting, and loved hosting company in her Florida home, especially for neighborhood parties like St. Patrick's Day. Elizabeth was deeply proud of her Irish heritage.

Surviving Family and Remembrance Elizabeth is survived by her daughters: Jennifer Sanner, FL., Amy and Jon Rowe, of TN, Julia and Steve, Rochester, NH, and Emily Conrad, Rochester NH. She is also survived by her sister Mary Kidney (Sister Olivia) and Sharon Kidney, Erik and Susan Grill, and her grandchildren: Jacob, Brooke, Brandon, Adam, Erik, and Olivia. Many nieces, nephews, and cousins mourn her passing. She was preceded in death by her husband of 34 years, Harry Sanner, and her second husband, David Craig. Elizabeth will be remembered for her unwavering devotion to her children, her years of service to the school system, and the countless lives she helped shape along the way.
