Elizabeth Ortiz, 93, of Melbourne, Florida, passed away peacefully on September 13, 2026.

Elizabeth was a loving, caring, and sweet woman whose life was centered around her family. She worked as an insurance agent and spent her life helping others, always putting the needs of those she loved before her own.

Elizabeth loved animals, the beach, and spending time with her family. She had a heart for helping others and was the kind of person who would always put someone else before herself.

One of the greatest joys and proudest accomplishments of Elizabeth’s life was raising her grandson, Damien. After the passing of her daughter, Noreen, Elizabeth stepped in and became the person who raised and cared for Damien. She dedicated herself to him and took tremendous pride in the man he became.

Elizabeth loved watching Damien play basketball and was always proud to be there cheering him on. Her love and support helped shape his life, and the bond they shared was one that will never be forgotten.

Elizabeth was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Eugene Ortiz, and her daughter, Noreen Ortiz.

She is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth Ortiz, and her grandson, Damien Ortiz, along with extended family and friends who loved her dearly.

Elizabeth will be remembered for her kindness, her selflessness, her gentle heart, and the unconditional love she gave to her family. She gave so much of herself to the people she loved and asked for so little in return.

For Damien, she was more than a grandmother. She was the woman who raised him, believed in him, stood beside him, and loved him unconditionally.

Her memory will live on in the people she loved, the lessons she taught, and the countless memories she left behind.

She will be deeply loved, deeply missed, and never forgotten. ❤️
