Gerald Wayne Fleming, born April 4, 1967, passed away on March 24, 2026, in Merritt Island, Florida. He was 58 years old.

Gerald was a man of quiet strength, steady presence, and simple joys. He carried a deep love for his family, a passion for fishing, and an unwavering loyalty to his beloved Miami Hurricanes. Whether casting a line into calm waters or watching a game with focused intensity, he found happiness in life's meaningful, everyday moments.

He pursued his education in Texas, reflecting his determination to grow and build a future. He later worked as a seasonal driver with UPS, where he was known for his reliability and strong work ethic.

Gerald was preceded in death by his brothers, Michael Marshall and Eugene Marshall.

He leaves behind a legacy of love in the hearts of his family. He is survived by his devoted mother, Jacqueline Marshall; his stepfather, Grady Marshall ("Pops"); and his stepmother, Inez Marshall. He is also survived by his sons, Gerald A. Fleming II, Brysten Fleming, and Sekani Fleming; his cherished daughter, Jilani Fleming; and his bonus daughter, Vassiaha Young. His children were his pride and his greatest joy.

Gerald will be remembered for his quiet resilience, his love for the outdoors, and the steady way he showed up for those he loved. His memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
