GRADY PAUL
MCLAIN
Dec 5, 1957 — Jul 18, 2026
UPRIGHT, MOBILE, BREATHING, AND THANKFUL
Grady P. McLain, loving husband, unexpectedly passed away on July 18, 2026. Married 25 years to his high school sweetheart and best friend, Patricia McLain. His passing also leaves behind a son, two granddaughters, a great grandson, and great granddaughter.
A member of the Church of Christ, Grady was born and raised in Brevard County Florida. He graduated from Merritt Island High School and received his HVAC certification from Albermarle College in N.C.
For the last 20 years, Grady operated P&G Enterprises (Your Trailer Tailor) loving every minute of what he did. He enjoyed talking to people and helping them out with their trailer issues. To him, every trailer was a unique puzzle and getting them back on the road safely was his passion.
Grady loved talking to and helping others whenever he could. His response to others when they greeted him was always a smile, and this saying, “I’m upright, mobile, breathing and Thankful.” It never failed to get a smile.
When not waist-deep in a trailer, Grady made art. Wielding wood, metal, and fire, he created art that displayed his skill, his heart, and his sense of humor. He also spent time teaching. If he met someone without the knowledge or skills, he would take the time out of his work schedule to explain the problem, the solution, and show the person how it was done. This may have lightened his customer load, but it created new friendships and strengthened his connections with those around him.
He will be miss by all who know him.
