Guy Thomas
Ammirati
Oct 28, 1958 — Jan 6, 2026
Guy was born in Bronx, NY, and at the age of one, his family moved to Miami, FL, where he grew up.
He has always loved sports and even played football and baseball. His teams were Canes and the Dolphins.
He graduated from Miami Killian High School in 1976. He also attended Baker Aviation School. He took flying lessons and learned to scuba dive.
He became a master carpenter, making boat cabinets. At one time he had his own business remodeling kitchens in Punta Gorda, FL.
His other hobbies were boating, fishing and surfing.
In the early 1990's, Guy became the "First Mate" on a private yacht named The Blue Danube. On his venture, he was able to see many places around the world. He was able to attend the Olympics in Barcelona, Spain.
He is survived by his daughter, Emily Rose; sister, Rosalie (Jim) and Juney (Dave); nephews, Jimmy and Michael; niece, Tiffany; and several cousins and many friends.
Guy was a special part of our lives. We love him very much. His faith was strong and he honored Jesus.
May he rest in eternal peace, where he is reunited with our loving parents and our beloved younger brother, David, AKA Dickey.
"He ain't heavy, He's my brother."
