It is with heavy hearts that we share the news that Helen Ritter died suddenly and peacefully on December 11, 2025 after 95 years on this earth. We know that she will enjoy her reunion with her husband Eric, son Scott, as well as many friends and relatives.

There were no strangers to Helen … only friends she had not met yet; she was a friend to all and was amazing at staying in touch with people near and far. Nothing made her happier than her family and many, many friends! She was relentlessly positive and cheerful and grateful for so many things. She made the best of every day and every encounter.

She will be missed by many, especially by her daughters Leigh Lynch (Michael) and Lynn Otte (Gaylord); grandchildren Eric Lynch (Varya), Corina Lynch, Greg Otte (Allison), Doug Otte (Betsy), Jeff Otte, and Helene Ritter; great-grandchildren Avrora and Aiden (Eric/Varya), Quinn (Greg/Allison) and Julian (Doug/Betsy); nieces and nephews Karen Giles, Vicki, Mary and Jan (Gary) Tukeva, Karen Reilly, Dick (Christy) Jones and Chris Jones.
