Janice Kathleene Wilson, age 74, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 4, 2026, at her home in Cape Canaveral, Florida, surrounded by her loving family, overlooking her cherished garden, with her beloved dogs by her side.

Janice was born on January 19, 1951, in Manchester, New Hampshire. She graduated from Memorial High School and went on to build a beautiful life devoted to family, service, and education.

As the wife of a United States Air Force commander, Janice traveled extensively while raising her two daughters, embracing each new chapter with grace and strength. She was a devoted wife, mother, and Nana who poured her heart into caring for others. Janice worked as an educator for special needs students and as a librarian, and she proudly served as Officers' Club Wives President during her years of military life.

Janice came with her husband to Florida following their assignment to the United States Embassy in Rome, Italy. She helped raise two grandsons while enjoying family, friends, and the lovely surroundings of Florida and her home state of New Hampshire.

She is survived by her husband, Michael R. Wilson; her daughters, Amber S. Ochoa and Brittany L. Wilson; and her grandsons, Ryan Peacock and Brody Runde.

A Celebration of Life will be held on January 18 at 3:00 p.m. at the Villages of Seaport Clubhouse.
