Jeffrey Paul HostJeffrey Paul Host, 84, passed away peacefully on July 3, 2026. He was born on August 21, 1941, in Kokomo, Indiana, to James Andrew Host and Miriam Karen Kindig. 

Jeffrey proudly served his country for 26 years in the United States Air Force, including service during the Vietnam War. Following his military career, he worked as a technical writing engineer until his retirement. Jeffrey had a lifelong passion for airplanes, automobiles, woodworking, and fixing just about anything. He was known for his kind heart, quick wit, and willingness to help others. Above all, he treasured spending time with his wife, family, and friends. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, James Andrew Host and Miriam Karen Kindig; his stepmother, Ilene Host; his brothers, Michael A. Host and Larry J. Host; and his sisters, Lynn Gayken and Teresa Kay Branch. Jeffrey is survived by his beloved wife, Sherry Host; his daughters, Erica Host and Jessica Owens, son-in-law Christopher Owens; his son, Jerrod Demers; his three cherished grandsons; his sisters, Diana S. Smith and Lisa Pierce; and many extended family members and dear friends. 

A funeral service with military honors will be held on Thursday, August 6, 2026, at 11:30 a.m. at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery 5525 N US 1 Mims, FL. A celebration of Jeffrey’s life will be held at Dixie Crossroads at 1:00PM 1475 Garden Street Titusville FL 32796.
