John Vincent Scianna Sr. passed away on January 27, 2026. He was born on December 22, 1935 in Norwalk, Connecticut to Americo Scianna and Margaret Iannacone Scianna.

John served in the Air Force from 1954-1958. John was a Florida resident for over sixty years. He held many jobs to support his family including car salesman, machinist, Palm Bay City Councilman, and bus driver for Brevard Public Schools.

He was a loyal husband to his late wife of 51 years, Jeannine D'Amico Scianna. He is survived by their three children Kathleen Schiffer, John Scianna Jr., and Michael Scianna and his wife Shelly; and six grandchildren, Angélica, Vincent, Louis, and Isabella Schiffer, and Anthony and Joshua Scianna.

John was a collector of paintings, antiques, toy trains; a lover of wildlife, nature, history, cars, home cooked Italian food, and attended Church at Viera with his family. His greatest legacy and source of pride was his family.

There will be a ceremony for my father, John Vincent Scianna Sr. , Monday February 16, at 11 am (arrive at 10:45 park in Line A) at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery in Mims, FL.
