John Evans Wiseman 72 of Rockledge, Florida passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side. He was born in St Augustine, FL on February 7, 1954 to Delano & Marlene Wiseman. John attended elementary school through high school in Palatka. He graduated from Palatka High School in 1972, where he played baseball and football. He worked at Winn Dixie until 1976, when he joined FPL. He worked at multiple power plants throughout Florida until he left March of 1998. He then moved to St Augustine and worked for JEA for 20 years. He was a very hard worker, yet he made everything as fun as he could while working. Cooking for people, is what truly made him happy. He enjoyed bringing his children and grandchildren to NASCAR races, which usually ended up at the dog track or Jai Alai after. He had a lifelong love of fishing, and he loved his sports, especially the Florida Gators. John was preceded in death by his parents Delano and Marlene Wiseman, brother’s Delano Wiseman Jr and David Wiseman, wife, Linda Wiseman and survived by his brother Kent(Peggy) Wiseman, brother Paul(Susan) Wiseman, sister Sheryl(James) Sessor, his children, daughter Kelly(Robert) Clifton, son John Scott(Whitney) Wiseman, daughter Kerryn Waters, his stepdaughter, Sara Breithaupt, grandchildren Ashlie(Matthew) King, Joseph(Hannah) Clifton, Jared(Caitlin) Clifton, Mackenzie Wiseman, Elijah Wiseman, Russell(Allie) Clark, Kayleigh Waters, Liam Lockhart, Paul Breithaupt, Emma Breithaupt, and his four great grandchildren, Paighton Clifton, Ella Alonso, Rion Alonso, Malia Alonso, and many Aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews. John will be remembered for his sense of humor and his love for his family. He will be greatly missed by all who were lucky enough to know him. A Celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
