Obituary

Today we gather to celebrate the life of Kathy Graham—a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother, beloved sister, treasured friend, and a woman whose kindness touched countless lives.

Kathy was born on April 15, 1953, to Kara Mulvey and C. Lyle Vanaman, in Columbia City, Indiana, and grew up in Fort Wayne, where she built the foundation of the caring and compassionate person she would become. Throughout her life, family remained at the center of everything she did.

In 1971, Kathy married her first husband, Treadwell Christoffel, and together they welcomed two children, Angela Christoffel Klusek and Patrick Christoffel. She became mom to her "Favorite Son-in-Law", Jason Klusek in 2009. she was a devoted grandmother to Dillan Simonton, Joanne Christoffel, Renee Klusek, and Mason Klusek. She also leaves behind two loving sisters, Kandi Ellingwood and Kristy Rose. Nothing brought Kathy greater happiness than spending time with those she loved.

In 2003, Kathy married Mike Graham, they shared more than twenty wonderful years together. Their love was built on friendship, laughter, and unwavering support, and together they created a life filled with treasured memories.

Kathy dedicated nearly ten years of service to the Eagles Club in Merritt Island, Florida. She served in many leadership roles, including Madam President, Madam Vice President and Madam Trustee and gave countless hours organizing charitable events and helping others. To those who knew her there, Kathy wasn't just a volunteer—she was a friend, a leader, and someone who could always be counted on.

She also had a remarkable gift for crocheting. With every blanket she made, she stitched love, comfort, and care into something that would warm both the body and the heart. Family and friends will treasure those handmade gifts as lasting reminders of her generous spirit.

Kathy's life was defined not by the things she owned, but by the love she gave. She found joy in serving others, opening her heart to friends, and making everyone around her feel welcome.

Though we grieve her passing, we are grateful for the time we shared with her. Her kindness, laughter, generosity, and beautiful smile will remain with us always.

Kathy's greatest gift was making people feel loved. Whether through a warm hug, a handmade blanket, a helping hand, or her beautiful smile, she had a way of making everyone feel like family. That love will remain in our hearts forever.

Kathy will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
