Kelby Gavin
Miller
Jan 9, 1995 — Nov 16, 2025
Kelby Gavin Miller went home to be with the Lord on November 16, 2025. Kelby is survived by his parents, Richard L. Miller Jr. and Rhonda Guillot Miller; his twin brother, Tyler Kenton Miller, and sister-in-law, Brandy Taylor Miller; and his grandmother, Elvie Jeane Miller. He is now reunited in Heaven with his grandfather, Richard Miller Sr., who welcomed him home with open arms. Kelby Gavin Miller was born on January 9, 1995 at Wuesthoff Memorial Hospital in Rockledge, Florida. He was born to Rick Miller and Rhonda Miller. Kelby was raised under his grandfather's ministry at Clearlake First Baptist Church in Cocoa, Florida. Kelby accepted Christ at a young age and was baptized by his grandfather at age seven. Later in life, he rededicated himself to the Lord and was baptized again at Lighthouse Church in Merritt Island. Kelby attended Merritt Island Christian School for 12 years, where he excelled both academically and in extracurriculars, especially football and Acting Troop. For the past twelve years, Kelby worked at the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex where he was still proudly employed at the time of his passing. He held many roles, always bringing enthusiasm to every task. He especially loved putting on the space suit to entertain visitors, making adults and children light up with excitement. He was deeply loved by coworkers who became like family over the years. Bringing joy to others was one of his greatest gifts. Kelby was also a certified personal trainer and dedicated to fitness, spending time in the gym daily. Always striving to grow, Kelby was taking an electromechanical engineering course through the University of Houston. Kelby had a heart that trusted deeply and loved fully. He was generous with his time, his help, and his encouragement. He never ended a phone call without saying "I love you," and he never left home without giving everyone a hug. His bright, outgoing personality made him unforgettable to everyone who knew him. Kelby loved the Lord boldly and shared his faith with anyone willing to listen. He cared fiercely for his family, supported his friends, and lived with a sincerity that touched so many lives. He will be deeply and forever missed.
