Kenneth Edwin Elam of Charleston, SC, passed away peacefully on July 20, 2026.

Kenneth worked as a programmer and analyst for the Federal Electric Corporation during the historic Apollo Missions. He later owned Antique Garden in Cocoa Village, spending decades hunting for hidden treasures and possessing an incredible eye for transforming forgotten relics into cherished pieces of history. Above all his collections, his greatest joy was his family. He took immense pride in watching his grandchildren and great-grandchildren grow, filling their lives with stories and wisdom.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford Elam and Blanche Murray Elam; his lifetime partner, Kathy Banks; and his daughter, Darlene Litts.

He is survived by his daughters, Lisa Elam, and Lu Anne Woodley and her husband Monroe. He also leaves behind a beautiful legacy through his many loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A private family gathering will be held at a later date.
