Lynn Ann Shaffer passed away at Cape Canaveral Hospital on November 20th, 2025, due to complications from lung cancer with her daughter Sarah by her side.

She was born in New Castle, PA and raised in upstate New York until the age of 14 when she moved to Huntsville, AL. In 1979, she moved to Titusville, FL to start her career in technical illustration with the aerospace industry. She drew drawings for the Space Shuttle as well as drawings of rocket boosters for ULA and Blue Origin along with many other projects.

She was also creative at home with her crafts. She loved watercolors and pottery. She was an avid knitter as well as sewing and needlepoint. She loved the outdoors, fishing, and going to the beach preferably at the same time.

Lynn was proceeded in death by her parents Bud and Martha Shaffer. Lynn is survived by her daughter Sarah Tarver as well as her sisters Nancy Shaffer and Boni Simmons and Boni's sons and their families.

Lynn was a spitfire and will truly be missed by all that knew her.
