Mark Crouch, 66, of Merritt Island passed away on February 2, 2026.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Bobby Joe and Alice Crouch. He is survived by his sister, Vicki Crouch Nelson (Bill); and nephew, Daniel Nelson (Anna).

He was born in Rockledge and lived most of his life in Merritt Island. He grew up watching launches from the Apollo & Shuttle days, and went on to work for Boeing for a few years during the International Space Station's construction. He really enjoyed being part of that project.

Growing up he enjoyed going camping and boating with his family. As a teenager, he built his own small hydroplane boat and took it out on the Sykes Creek. He also liked riding motorcycles and his ATV.

Mark graduated from Merritt Island High School in 1977. He also graduated from Brevard Community College with a degree in Drafting and later on earned a degree in Engineering.

A graveside service will be held in Jackson, Tennessee, where he will be laid to rest next to his parents.
