Marvin "Sonny" Brown, 83, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, after a courageous two-year battle with cancer.

Sonny was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He shared 61 years with his beloved wife, Dottie, building a life grounded in love, loyalty, and quiet strength. Together, they raised two daughters, Kimberly (Timothy) and Lori (Randy), who carry forward his values of kindness and compassion.

He was a proud grandfather to Chase (Emily), who brought him great joy and pride. Sonny treasured his family dearly and found his greatest happiness in their presence.

Sonny honorably served his country in the United States Air Force for 20 years. His dedication and sense of duty reflected the steady, humble character he carried throughout his life.

Known for his quiet nature and warm heart, Sonny will be remembered most for his bright, genuine smile and the kindness he showed to everyone he met. His strength, especially over the past two years, was an inspiration to those who loved him.

Sonny will be laid to rest at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery on Friday, June 5, 2026, at 10:30 a.m., where he will receive full military honors in recognition of his faithful service.

He leaves behind a legacy of love, integrity, and gentle strength that will live on in all who knew him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
