Obituary

Michelle A. Casavant passed away peacefully after a very short battle with cancer in Titusville, Florida on March 16th, 2026 at 3:33 A.M. She was an extremely devoted Mother, Wife, and Daughter, along with being a spectacular cook. Her love language WAS cooking! Anybody that knew her could attest to the delicious meals and sweet treats she would make for family and friends that she cared for very deeply.

She loved being on the water, rather it be on the river or at the beach. She was an avid fisherman all her life starting at a very young age when her family moved to Pine Island rd. in North Merritt Island. That was her peace, when she was on the water. She spent most of her adult life being a caring wife and raising her children in Port St. John. She loved spending time with her family and she will be deeply missed by everyone who knew her and loved her.

She is preceded in death by her father Michael L. Brkich Sr., her twin sister Sandra Chapa, and younger brother Michael R. Brkich. She is survived by her Mother Delia Brkich, her husband Ray Casavant, her younger brother Scott Brkich and his son, her nephew, Casyn Brkich. A son Albert Fournier III (Daisy), a daughter Darleene Kurak (Austin) and two grandsons Austin Kurak Jr. and Dean Kurak. Rest In Peace Mom, we will miss you with every breath!
