Obituary

Pamela Ann Dunn, beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away on January 9, 2026, at the age of 89, in her home in Mims, FL surrounded by love.

Pam was born on December 16, 1936, in Clapham, England and was raised in Tooting, England, the daughter of the late Cecil and Ettie Lovegrove. Her parents served in the Royal Signals and Royal Air Force respectfully during World War II and Pam was evacuated to Devon, England during this time. She enjoyed her childhood summers camping at Brighton beach with her family and as a young adult worked at a local pharmacy and later a sewing factory. In 1957, she left England, moving to Turkey and then to the US eventually settling in Florida in the 1960s. She established the first British Club in the area and became very involved in the community.

She had a lifelong passion for caring for children, from working in daycares and volunteering in schools and working at Space Camp, to raising her own children and lovingly caring for her grandchildren.

Pam was an avid knitter, donating countless blankets and clothing items to World Vision and lovingly sharing many cherished creations with family and friends. She also found great joy in gardening and took immense pride in tending her beautiful garden. Cross stitching and reading were also among her favorite past times.

Above all else, Pam cherished her family. She was a constant source of support, strength, and unconditional love. Her absence is deeply felt, but while we mourn her passing, we are profoundly grateful for the many years we were blessed to share with her and for the remarkable legacy of love she leaves behind. She will live on in our hearts, in our memories, and in the traditions she lovingly passed down.

Pam is remembered by brothers Richard (Josephine) Lovegrove and Phillip Lovegrove; children, Ashleigh (Todd) Ruggles, Mark Dunn, and Allison Carver; her grandchildren, Erica (Bryan) Bumgardner, Lesley (Christian) Boldrini, Jonathan Carver, and Haleigh Ruggles; her great grandchildren, Sansa Von Kuehlman and Freya Boldrini; as well as many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her brother, Jimmy Lovegrove.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to Shriner's Children's Hospital
