Regina
Robbins
Oct 30, 1961 — Jan 7, 2026
It is with deep love and tremendous sorrow that we announce the passing of Reggie (Regina) Robbins, a fiercely strong and amazingly beautiful woman, on January 7, 2026, after a courageous battle with breast cancer.
Reggie was born in Norwalk, CT on October 30, 1961 and raised in Herndon, VA but found her "forever paradise" in Cocoa Beach, Florida; ultimately settling in the close-knit community of Rock Pointe Condominiums. She took incredible pride in her peaceful village, serving diligently as president of the board, and faithfully added highly anticipated creativity to her surroundings with her personal touches of décor during each holiday season for all to enjoy.
Reggie was a successful business woman and a force to be reckoned with as a savvy executive in the insurance industry. Her charismatic nature and dazzling negotiation skills gave her the innate ability to "win them over" every time. Colleagues and clients became friends and those friends became her family. She never met a stranger.
She was a captivating beacon of strength to all who knew her. Her distinct laughter lit up every room, her genuine and giving kindness touched countless lives, her adventurous nature took her around the world, her deep compassion enriched communities and her bold determination inspired everyone around her. She willingly gave of herself without expectations, sincerely and selflessly, to all who loved her. Her unwavering friendship, genuine love and dependable loyalty truly embodied the meaning of "ride or die."
Reggie faced every challenge with the heart of the warrior that she was, meeting each new day with divine grace, unyielding resilience, and resolute grit. Even in the darkest moments, she chose to live with gratitude and her unique sense of humor, leaving an enduring legacy of admirable courage, joyful laughter and overall passionate zest for life.
She is survived by her beloved husband and best friend of 30 years, Michael Robbins; her treasured only daughter, Kristi Smith; her precious and cherished granddaughter, Charlie "Bean" Grace Wrobel; her parents, Jo & Larry Zabel; her brothers, Rick Lang, Kenny Lang and Joey Zabel and her sister, Michelle Preston – who will forever carry her spirit in their hearts.
Her life was a testament to the power of perseverance and the authentic beauty of a heart that never stops loving.
"Those who touch our lives, stay in our hearts forever." —
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to breast cancer research to honor her fight and help others continue the battle she fought so bravely.
