Robert Walter Schindler, Sr., known as Bob or Robbie to his family and friends, passed away peacefully at home at age 70. He was born in Bronx, New York on April 3, 1956 to Frederick and Patricia.

Bob grew up in New York but moved around once he reached adulthood. He was living in Cocoa, Florida when he met and married Regina (Gina) Williamson in 1990.

Bob, Gina, and their son Robert Jr. later moved to Griffin, Georgia where they lived for 17 years. In 2012, Robert and Gina returned to live in Cocoa, Florida where they spent their retirement years. Bob is preceded in death by Gina, his beloved wife of 30 years, and also his brother Frederick.

Bob is survived by his four children: Teresa (Clayton) Cassella, Laura Schindler, Kathleen Schindler, and Robert (Jasmine) Schindler, Jr.; and his five grandchildren: Jennaleigh Harris, Jaylynn Schindler, Robert Schindler III, Marion Cassella, and William Cassella.

He is also survived by his sisters: Patricia Lawrence, Susan (Henry) McGrath, and sister-in-law Linda Schindler. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation in his name to your local Humane Society.
