Stanley L. Roper, "Stan The Man" age 63, Passed away Saturday, March 14, 2026. He was in the presence of his loving family. Stanley was born in States Boro Georgia on June 16, 1962. He was the son of Gordon Roper & Annie Littles who both predeceased him and the husband of Carol King Roper.

In June of 2010 Stan enlisted his family to help him locate the love of his youth which evolved into 13 years of marriage. Stan was a man with a list of nicknames and will always be remembered by his mischievous smile and contagious belly laugh, he was a fun loving man who would spread his knowledge to anyone willing to listen and debate. His love for boating and golfing was cause for countless memories and joyful moments among his cohorts. He enjoyed family gatherings conversing and challenging his nieces, nephews and flawed family reconciliations.

Stanley will be watching over all of us. He was blessed to be a blessing to many.

Stanley L. Roper is survived by his wife Carol K. Roper, Sisters; Ruby Daniels, Julia (George) Holmes, Patty Grate, Brothers: Gordon "Pete" (Velma) Roper III, Calvin (Shirley) Roper; A host of Nieces & Nephews: Numerous Great Nieces and Nephews.
