Thomas S. McFayden passed away peacefully at home in Cape Canaveral, Florida, on March 16, 2026, at the age of 75. He was born on April 9, 1950, in Holyoke, Massachusetts. He was preceded in death by his mother, Annie Richards, and his godfather, Robert Rose. He and his sister were raised by their mother and often fondly referred to themselves as "the Three Musketeers."

Tommy is survived by his sister, Julie (McFayden) Paquette; his niece, Tonianne Paquette (Lori Hennessey); his partner of more than 40 years, Jeannette (Jan) Pollice; her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, all of whom lovingly called him Uncle Tom; and many dear friends.

Tom grew up in Chicopee, Massachusetts. After graduating from high school, he traveled to Europe with a friend, where he bought a motorcycle and spent several months exploring, developing a special love for Spain. Upon returning home, he became a master millwright and was a proud member of Local Union 1121, which took him to job sites throughout New England. He also spent some time working at a Chevrolet dealership.

Tom retired in 2012 and eventually made his home in Florida. He remained a loyal fan of the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots throughout his life.

He loved walking along the beach, playing a round of golf, and was always willing to try his luck on a slot machine or a scratch ticket. Tom had the gift of gab and truly enjoyed talking with people. He could strike up a conversation with anyone, and before long, everyone was a friend.

He will be deeply missed by his family and friends in western Massachusetts and Florida.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 4, 2026, at 1:00 pm at Paddy Cassidy's, located at 2009 N Atlantic Ave, Cocoa Beach, FL 32931.
