Yvonne Barlow, 72, passed into Gods arms on March 27, 2026, surrounded by the ones she loved. Yvonne was born in Detroit, Michigan on March 22, 1954. She relocated to Michigan's Upper Peninsula in 1972. There she met and married Louis Barlow in 1973.

As a military wife Yvonne made a warm and loving home wherever they were assigned. From Texas to Oregon, Idaho, Michigan, California, Ohio and 6 years in England, finally nesting in Florida to enjoy the sun. Yvonne lived a life full of kindness and warmth. She always took great pride in her home, wherever it was and especially loved gardening.

She was a very caring and loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother with a strong devotion to family. She was preceded in death by her mother and step-father, Mary and Harold Holmes of Skandia, Michigan and sister Mary Mikhail.

Yvonne is survived by her husband of 53 years Louis and son Shawn, (Susan Mahan, fiancee). Granddaughters; Abby, Hailie, Zoi and grandson Urijah along with great granddaughters; Oaklyn, Luna, Penelope, Amiyah and great grandsons Kaden and Alijah. Sisters, Bobby (Campbell), Gladys (Sulskis), Denise (Nelson) and brother Harold Holmes. She will be missed greatly by her family and many friends.

At this time funeral/COL dates have not been determined. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the National Scleroderma Foundation.

Yvonne will be deeply missed by many. May she rest in peace and her memory a blessing to all who loved and knew her.
